  • Fundacion ONCE, Royal Board on Disability and the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities  (CRUE) have jointly worked to define the Universal Accessibility and Design for all competences to be introduced in university curricula, in order to ensure that future professionals take into account needs of people with disabilities, elder people and other groups at risk of social exclusion, when designing spaces, products and services. The current research shows the implementation state of these aspects in the university curricula, analysing all the tackled disciplines in the different guides already published, focusing in the first ones which comprise: Architecture, Design, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Roadways, Canals and Ports Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Psychology.
